It remains to be seen if it will be a jolly old time for Albert Pujols this week in London, but it certainty figures to be a jolly busy one.
Pujols, who concluded his legendary Major League Baseball playing days last year with a storybook season for the Cardinals after an epic 11-season run with them before leaving for a decade, is in the early stage of making a career transition. He’s mixing broadcast assignments with a role in which he is assisting commissioner Rob Manfred in an effort to expand the game worldwide.
He’s filling both positions this week, as he is set to be in London in association with the Cardinals-Cubs series there.
