McClellan: A one-woman crime wave at Ballpark Village

She did not begin her usher career at Ballpark Village. She began working as an usher at Busch Stadium in 2006. It was, for her, a retirement job. She had just retired from a career as a fund-raiser for nonprofits — much of her career was spent in Boston — and she was looking for something to do. A friend was an usher and suggested Ann apply.

For several years, she worked in the administrative lobby. Because the public was not generally allowed in the administrative lobby, Ann’s job was mostly ceremonial. She was well-suited for that job.
