The Cardinals' coaching staff won't have any turnover before next season.
For the first time in Mike Matheny's career as St. Louis Cardinals manager, he won't have to replace any coaches heading into next season (as reported by MLB.com's Jennifer Langosch).
Instead, general manager John Mozeliak and the organization gave the coaches on Matheny's staff extensions after their 2015 season came to an end.
That means that Matheny and his eight-man coaching staff will all return for 2016, coming off a 100-win season that ended in an NLDS defeat at the hands of the Chicago Cubs.
