Lynn continues Cards' strong run of pitching

MILWAUKEE -- Lance Lynn didn't have command of his fastball early in the Cardinals' 6-0 win over the Brewers on Friday, and he admitted that he started aiming down the middle to try and remedy the problem. It worked.

Lynn threw six scoreless innings and struck out seven, while reliever Carlos Villanueva fired another three frames without allowing the Brewers to plate a run for the Cardinals' 12th shutout this season and second in a row.

"I just start aiming down the middle and hope for the best, really," Lynn said of when his fastball command isn't there.
