The last time Karlie Kloss stood on the Busch Stadium infield, she was singing the national anthem with her fifth grade class.
But today, the 22-year-old supermodel will take the mound and throw out the first pitch before the Cardinals face the Arizona Diamondbacks on Memorial day.
To prepare for the opening toss, Kloss, from Webster Groves, gathered advice from Cardinals pitcher Lance Lynn, who instructed her on how to aim and throw a baseball.
"I’m just trying to throw the ball, but he was trying to teach me how to pitch it, which is so thoughtful of him," Kloss said.
