With a chance to get many at-bats in short burst and a controlled setting, Bader followed Tommy Pham and a few other teammates to Field 1 at Roger Dean Stadium for a “squad game.” In the span of about 90 minutes, Bader got around 10 at-bats against a variety of pitchers, and only of them left a mark. Alex Reyes let fly a fastball that came up and in on Bader. He turned away and took the pitch – thump!
