A trio of Cardinals prospects, who at one point shared the field together in Class AA Springfield this past season, were recognized on Tuesday as the Cardinals’ farm system's top players for 2022.
Outfielders Jordan Walker and Moises Gomez were named Cardinals co-minor league players of the year, and right-handed pitcher Gordon Graceffo was named the organization's top minor-league pitcher of the year.
"That Springfield team, along with the rest of the farm system we have for St. Louis, it's a special group of guys," Graceffo said. "There's a ton of talent in the farm system, and I know the org had a hard time picking all the awards.
