During an interview with USA Today to promote his new movie, "Bad Times at the El Royale," Hamm showed he is a wise and intelligent man with concrete priorities and impeccable judgment.
"The DH is an abomination," Hamm told an interviewer when the discussion switched from movie hype to the national pastime. "I would do away with the designated hitter. Other than that, baseball is fine."
"There is no better evening than going to a baseball game," he said. "Sitting and eating peanuts and watching baseball to me is about as pure an expression of American delight as I can possibly experience.
