LOS ANGELES • Vin Scully has called Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers games since 1950, the year that Connie Mack last managed, and thus surely qualifies as the media member who has seen more major league games than anyone else. The total is a staggering 10,000 or more, of which 20 have been no-hitters and three perfect games.
While he probably isn’t quite yet ready to choose his all-time Dodgers team, Scully did agree to a Post-Dispatch request for his all-opponent team of National League stars.
His team consists of 15 players — four starters, two relievers and nine position players.
