Closer Seung Hwan Oh will be back soon from Korea because his team already has been eliminated from the World Baseball Classic. Lefthanders Kevin Siegrist and Brett Cecil appeared in the same game Wednesday in a 9-3 win over Washington and Siegrist, in fact, appeared in a game for the first time this spring, having tended to a tender shoulder.
The twosome totaled four strikeouts in two innings with Cecil, pitching around a walk and a single, fanning three lefthanded hitters after allowing all six batters he faced in his last outing not only to reach base but to score.
