Hudson named fifth starter; Fowler (twice), Ozuna homer as Cards romp 11-3

JUPITER, Fla. • In Cardinals news not replete with dollar signs Thursday, Dakota Hudson was announced as the club’s fifth starter, joining Miles Mikolas, Jack Flaherty, Michael Wacha and Adam Wainwright.

Dexter Fowler, batting .200, hit not one but two home runs batting out of the leadoff spot, connecting for his first four-bagger since July 24 of last year. Marcell Ozuna, batting .156, homered, doubled twice, scored three runs and made a stellar, running catch in left field.

Harrison Bader, besides having two hits and a run batted in, turned in two diving catches of the three he tried in center field.
