Holliday's hitting at Busch as puzzling as Cards' home record

Matt Holliday hit a scalding home run to left in the fifth inning Tuesday night and a double to the opposite field in right in the seventh as he displayed his breadth of hitting at Busch Stadium.

He is a career .295 hitter at Busch Stadium, just eight points under his career average for all parks at .303 and, if you exclude Coors Field, where former Colorado Rockies outfielder Holliday has batted .361, he is hitting .287 everywhere but Coors. So, Busch should not prove to be any more challenging to the Cardinals’ 36-year-old left fielder than any other place.
