PHOENIX • After legging out a triple in the first inning and trying to beat a throw to first base in the third inning, Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday has left Monday's game with what the team is calling a cramp in his right leg.
Holliday had an RBI triple in the first inning and then scored to help the Cardinals build a 2-0 early lead on Arizona's ace Zack Greinke.
Holliday grounded out during his at-bat in the third inning, and then he did not take the field for the bottom of that inning.
