PHOENIX -- Cardinals left field Matt Holliday left Monday's series opener against the D-backs midway through the third inning due to a right leg cramp. Holliday, who was replaced in the field by Jeremy Hazelbaker, was listed as day to day, the club announced.
Holliday helped St. Louis to an early lead by driving home a first-inning run with a triple off Zack Greinke. He then scored on an RBI groundout by Brandon Moss. Holliday grounded out to in his third-inning at-bat, then did not take his position in the bottom half of the frame.
