What if there was a way, written into the collective bargaining agreement, to encourage and grow the promotion of baseball players?
That sounds like a win-win, right?
The more popular the players are, thus the more marketable the players are, thus more companies pay to advertise with baseball teams and players and more fans pay to watch baseball teams and players.
So, this winter, a lot of people look at this next CBA as the catapult into the next era of baseball. There could be numerous changes, if the players get their way (or if the owners get their way).
