Spring isn’t supposed to spring. It’s supposed to gently and calmly develop, as the baseball season buds — and come, say, May, only then blossoms.
Not this year. Spring has sprung right into our faces. The Cardinals have been immediately maddening and every mistake has been magnified.
Sure, they won a game Sunday. Even so, the Cardinals are 9-13 as they head into seven road games against the Giants and Dodgers.
