As a kid, she had a backward K in her alphabet.
Emily Wiebe was raised on baseball, a childhood measured not so much in years as in innings.
Her dad taught her how to keep score. He was an A’s fan. Followed Tony’s teams in the late 1980s. Like her mother, though, Emily became a Giants fan. That worked out. Sure enough, Emily was in high school when they won it all in 2010. Then at Princeton for the Giants’ titles in 2012 and 2014.
Emily loved baseball, and she wasn’t just enchanted by baseball, but fascinated by it, too.
