Hazelbaker starts against Marlins

JUPITER, Fla. • After Jeremy Hazelbaker entered Monday's game off the bench then hit a two-run homer on a full-count pitch with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Randal Grichuk praised the spring surprise's ability to make an impact as a non-starter.

On Wednesday the two will share the outfield together. From the start.

The outfielder Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak called "more than a nice story" will start in right field and bat seventh for the Cardinals in Wednesday's Grapefruit League exhibition against the Miami Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium.

Second baseman Kolten Wong, a candidate for the leadoff spot, will hit second.
