Greg Garcia, in the afterglow of his two-homer game at Cincinnati, will start at third base, and he bumps Paul DeJong down a notch in the lineup. The second-year starter who led the team in home runs a year ago is batting eighth as the Cardinals make their first visit to Wrigley Field of the season.
The Cardinals brought Gyorko and reliever Luke Gregerson back from the 10-day DL on Monday. Gyorko has been recovering from a hamstring strain, and he appeared solely in backfield games this past weekend in Jupiter, Fla. Gregerson went through a traditional rehab assignment with a series of appearances for High-A Palm Beach.
