Grichuk to bat leadoff for Cards

PHILADELPHIA • Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, with a scheduled day off on Monday, is resting a couple of his regulars Sunday in the final game of the Cardinals' series against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Catcher Yadier Molina and second baseman Kolten Wong both will sit. This means Randal Grichuk, who has had six hits, including three home runs, in the first two games of the series, will hit first for the second time this season.

Tony Cruz will catch Michael Wacha, who is seeking his 10th win, and Greg Garcia will be at second base.

The Cardinals will be opposed by Philadelphia lefthanded rookie Adam Morgan, who was 0-6 in the minors this season although he gave up just four earned runs over his last 14 1/3 innings covering three games.
