Major League Baseball owners and players reached an impasse after failing to agree on what they’ve already agreed to.
That makes their stupid standoff even more aggravating.
Why can’t baseball commissioner Rob Manfred and MLB Players Association czar Tony Clark slip on their big boy pants and iron this out? The tone of the owner-player bickering resembles a playground argument between overheated fourth graders.
If they can’t get this return-to-play agreement done, Manfred and Clark should move on from Our National Pastime and allow new leaders to clean up the mess.
NASCAR and the PGA Tour are back in action and the NHL, MLS and NBA are ironing their return details.
