- Is it? I wasn't aware that he had said that, or that anyone close to him had suggested that. I had a chance to catch up with some people who do know, who do know what kind of situation he's looking for, and they pretty much all mentioned how he had been told by peers, colleagues, and interested parties that he could find a home in St. Louis and that he was a fit for the Cardinals. I know of one person who knows him well who said he would be surprised if he got to free agency.
