When Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia will take the mound Sunday afternoon against the power-hungry Colorado Rockies, he'll be looking for something he hasn't received much of in his previous few starts: run support.
The lefty, who is 3-4 on the season with a stellar 2.00 earned-run average in eight starts, has been a bright spot for the Cardinals' rotation despite battling a few injuries.
However, the Cardinals haven't put up a single run in any of his four losses.
Catching Garcia today will be Tony Cruz, who will be filling in for Yadier Molina.
Mark Reynolds will take first base after the recently-acquired Brandon Moss started the previous two games at the position.
