Cardinals starter Carlos Martinez has turned in another solid outing.
Martinez tossed eight innings while allowing only one run against the visiting Dodgers, his seventh consecutive quality start. His ERA fell almost a quarter of a run, going from 3.32 to 3.08 on the night.
He was pinch hit for by Jose Martinez in the bottom of the eighth with the Cardinals continuing to search for offense.
The home team has just four hits on the night and one run, though two of the hits were doubles.
