There’s a power play going on that many St. Louisans will be interested in other than what takes place in the Blues-Minnesota playoff series that begins this week.
Fox Networks Group and Charter Spectrum cable are embroiled in a contract dispute at the national level over money that could lead to Fox withholding Fox Sports Midwest, which is set to televise two Blues playoff games and five Cardinals contests this week, from Charter’s lineup. Also affected in the dispute are FX and the National Geographic channels.
Not impacted are the Fox broadcast network (KTVI, Channel 2 locally), FS1 and FS2 sports, Fox News Channel and the Fox Business outlet.
