MILWAUKEE • Center fielder Dexter Fowler and shortstop Aledmys Diaz, both of whom didn’t start Saturday night because of minor injuries, have returned to Sunday’s Cardinals lineup for the finale of a four-game series with Milwaukee.
Eric Fryer, who caught Mike Leake for seven scoreless innings at Washington recently, will give catcher Yadier Molina a rest even though Molina had three hits in Saturday’s win.
Greg Garcia, who had two doubles while playing shortstop Saturday, will start at third Sunday against Brewers righthander Jimmy Nelson, who has a horrid 0-7 lifetime record and 7.34 earned run average against the Cardinals.
