Former Cardinal Chris Duncan, now a sports-talk radio host at WXOS (101.1 FM), has taken a leave of absence to address his ongoing fight with cancer.
“This tumor keeps popping up so I’ve got to do something about it,” he recently said on the air. “So I’m going to step aside for a little bit, take a little bit of a medical break and focus on one thing instead of multiple things.”
He has been with the station since 2011 in a variety of slots and currently works with Anthony Stalter from 1-3 p.m. weekdays.
“Sometimes I feel like I’m playing multiple positions with all the medical stuff going on and trying to do the radio and reading all these articles and trying to keep up with everything,” Duncan added.
