Entering Monday's home opener, Cardinals outfielder Randal Grichuk was having a tough time at the plate. He was hitting .067 for the season, with only one hit in 15 at bats.
Former Cardinals Preston Wilson and Mark DeRosa on MLB Network's morning show "MLB Central" took note of that Monday and offered Grichuk a few tips with his swing.
The biggest suggestion was to set the hitting machine to deliver the nastiest curveballs it could, to force Grichuk to stay back in his swing.
Did Grichuk see the advice, and did it work?
