The State College Spikes, the Short Season-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, and Corey Feldman are at odds over a purportedly bizarre appearance by the former movie star at one of the team’s games.
Feldman, the actor best known for his performances in 1980s classics “Stand By Me” and “The Lost Boys,” before his career entered a downward spiral amid roles in substandard films and erratic behavior related to heavy drug use, chose to resurface recently at the aforementioned minor league baseball game. Feldman threw out the ceremonial first pitch and later performed a bizarre musical number, during which he invoked his time-honored but outdated ode to Michael Jackson.
