As the minor league season enters its home stretch, it’s worth taking a look around at some of the more interesting storylines that have been part of the Cardinals’ system this year. There is a debate to be had about the top prospect in the system, as the incumbent top guy has had an up and down season and is suffering from a pretty serious case of homeritis, while both his buddy, the current number two, and last year’s top pick have come on strong, staking a claim to the top spot.
