St. Louis starter Carlos Martinez has settled down since allowing a solo home run to Reds outfielder Adam Duvall.
Through four innings, the young flamethrower has given up just the one run on four hits while striking out two and walking none. Martinez has gotten the job done by throwing 55 pitches, 37 of which were strikes.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals' offense has yet to get it going against Scott Feldman. The Reds right-hander has matched Martinez almost pitch for pitch, throwing up zeroes each inning.
The closest the Cardinals came to scratching a run across thus far was in the bottom of the third.
