Thanks to a ninth-inning rally, the Cardinals were able to pull out a 3-2 victory against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon.
With the game locked up 2-2, Trevor Rosenthal stepped in to relieve in the top of the ninth. After giving up a double to Carlos Gonzalez with two outs, he struck out Drew Stubbs to give his team into the bottom of the ninth.
With one out in the bottom of that inning, Jason Heyward spanked a double into the corner. That brought up Randal Grichuk, who homered earlier in the fifth inning to give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead before the Rockies tied it in the sixth.
