ST. LOUIS • With the 221st overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft, the Cardinals drafted Jesse Jenner in the seventh round.
Jenner is a catcher from the University of San Diego. He started his college career at Cal State Fullerton and transferred to Grossmont College for his sophomore season.
As a junior in 2014 for the University of San Diego, Jenner hit .348 in 49 games. He was a selection to the All-West Coast Conference second team in 2015.
