Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams, who was almost certain to land on the disabled list after suffering a right quadriceps strain Tuesday, now is certain not to be playing for months. The Cardinals announced Wednesday night that Adams would be out an estimated three to four months, which could mean the rest of the regular season.
