Cardinals unload in the 11th, turn extra innings into laugher

PHILADELPHIA • It took awhile for the Cardinals to find a way to take advantage of the Phillies and their unsettled bullpen, but better late and loud than never.

The Cardinals batted around in the 11th inning and tagged the Phillies with two home runs and six runs total. Tommy Pham and Yadier Molina each had home runs as the Cardinals turned 1-1 tie game into a rout, but it was Stephen Piscotty's two-run double that broke the inning open.

Phillies reliever Casey Fien entered with two runners on base.

The score was tied.
