JUPITER, Fla. • Singles by Breyvic Valera and Todd Cunningham, a wild pitch, an infield groundout and a sacrifice fly by Patrick Wisdom netted the Cardinals two runs in the eighth inning as they drew even with the New York Mets at 4-4 in exhibition baseball Saturday.
The Cardinals had been playing catch-up since the third inning when the Mets scored twice off Cardinals starter Michael Wacha to snap a 1-1 tie.
