Matt Holliday and Michael Wacha took significant steps before Monday night’s Cardinals game with the Chicago Cubs, but closer Seung Hwan Oh remained at rest after suffering a groin injury groin while throwing a pitch Friday night.
Oh was unavailable Saturday night when the Cardinals won and again Sunday when Kevin Siegrist surrendered a ninth-inning, game-deciding homer to Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun. Oh said he should be ready Tuesday.
