Replacing Holland on the pitching staff was lefthander Tyler Lyons, who came off the DL after suffering a back strain and faced two hitters on Saturday. Also, the Cardinals took catcher Carson Kelly off the disabled list (right hamstring) and optioned catcher Steven Baron to Class AAA Memphis. Kelly had played in two rehab games for Memphis, getting three hits on Friday before rising at 4 a.m. Saturday to get to Pittsburgh.
