ATLANTA — After an extra round of batting practice followed drills he had done earlier in the batting cage and ongoing conversations with hitting coach Jeff Albert in between turns, Nolan Arenado fielded a question on the field Friday about what he sought from all those swings.
He started an answer, paused, and then went with the approach he’s working on — direct.
“Listen, at the end of the day, I’m not feeling great, and we’re trying to work through it,” Arenado said. “It’s a little tweak. It’s hard to break those little tweaks when you create habits.
