St. Louis Cardinals starter Lance Lynn will miss the entire 2016 season.
The St. Louis Cardinals announced Tuesday that right-handed pitcher Lance Lynn underwent Tommy John surgery in St. Louis to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow while also having the ulnar nerve transposed and bone chips removed.
Lynn will miss the entire 2016 season.
An All-Star in 2012, Lynn recorded his third-straight season of 30 or more starts in 2015 and is one of just 16 major league pitchers with 175 or more innings pitched in each of the past four seasons.
