Cardinals hold on for 6-5 win, sweep Phillies at home

Busch Stadium can reacquaint itself with brooms.

It took a rather tense inning from Cardinals closer Seung Hwan Oh, but the Cardinals completed the sweep.

Starter Adam Wainwright limited the Phillies to a couple of runs over five innings, relievers held on and an offense that had been mostly dormant entering this weekend came together for a 6-5 win on Sunday at Busch Stadium.

The Cardinal's third consecutive win since general manager John Mozeliak announced changes to manager Mike Matheny's coaching staff and roster also marked the club's first sweep since one against the Marlins in a trip to Miami in early May.
