I know what you are thinking. St. Louis Cardinals’ left fielder Randal Grichuk just cranked a couple majestic home runs in Philadelphia so why are you telling me to restrain myself from jumping on the bandwagon? It’s simple really. Riding is fine, but don’t finish the entire glass of kool aide just yet.
Grichuk is an exciting talent yet cut from the raw variety and will still suffer extended slumps with lots of strikeouts. He will be fooled by an average pitcher’s breaking ball, especially from a righthander.
