By the time O'Neill came to the plate Wednesday afternoon against the Yankees in the third inning, he had four hits in Grapefruit League play. All four were home runs. The liner to right field at Roger Dean Stadium was the first. The next two went over the left field wall and threatened office space. His shot against the Yankees was a right-center shot that carried over the reach of Aaron Judge.
Judge entered the game tied with O'Neill with three homers so far this spring. The former Rookie of the Year hit second in the Yankees order, right ahead of former National League MVP Giancarlo Stanton.
