"We are pleased to extend our agreement with our partners at KMOX," Cardinals president Bill DeWitt III said in a statement released on Friday. "KMOX is an iconic station in St. Louis, and we are proud to extend our partnership with them, which includes so much shared history and tradition."
Cardinals games have been on the KMOX airwaves since the 1920s with little interruption. Team broadcasts were heard elsewhere from 2006-10 before returning to the CBS Radio station for the '11 season. The current agreement was set to expire at the end of this season. Financial details of the new arrangement were not disclosed.
