ST. LOUIS • Ballpark Village's Budweiser Brew House has been hit with a lawsuit claiming it has sent thousands of unsolicited, promotional text messages to consumers since 2014.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday, says that the Brew House and Entertainment Consulting International LLC, a restaurant management company, has sent thousands of unsolicited text messages to consumers since 2014 "promoting specials and events at the Brew House."
The companies didn't have the consent of the recipients, some of whom were on the "Do Not Call" registry, the suit says.
The lawsuit seeks class action status to represent all of those who received the texts.
