What was reported last weekend now is official. Joe Buck is in jeopardy.
"Jeopardy!," that is, the legendary television answer-and-question show.
The program's schedule of guest hosts for the rest of year has been announced, and St. Louisan Buck is set to conduct the shows that will air Aug. 9-13.
It will be part of a high-profile period for Buck, who the preceding weekend is to be presented with the Pete Rozelle Award as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction festivities. That honor is bestowed for excellence in broadcasting the sport. Buck, who turns 52 on Sunday, is the longtime lead NFL and MLB play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports.
