MILWAUKEE • The hits just keep on coming for the Cardinals. Already having lost four players to the disabled list in the last week, three other players went out before the end of Friday night’s game, with the last one, former closer Trevor Rosenthal.
Pitching the ninth inning of a game tied at 3-3, Rosenthal appeared to suffer a leg injury while delivering a pitch, shortly after he had to leap to avoid running into first baseman Jedd Gyorko as the Cardinals were trying to field a sacrifice bunt.
Reliever Seung Hwan Oh would get one more out, fanning pinch hitter Andy Wilkins after nicking Ramon Flores with a pitch.
