Earlier this week, the analysis-based website FiveThirtyEight.com offered a piece on the pitch-framing decline of Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina.

The headline certainly grabbed one's attention:

"Yadier Molina Forgot How to Frame a Pitch." 

Writer Rob Arthur went on make some profound pronouncements, including "Yadier Molina is falling apart," and referring to Molina's defense as "a mess.
