These are the words president of operations John Mozeliak used Tuesday when describing what he sees as the biggest need for the Cardinals moving forward.
It's not as specific as last years's number one priority -- the Cardinals flat out said they wanted a center fielder -- but it's clear the club is in the market for a catalyst that can alter an offense that finished the season ranked in the National League's top-five in average (.256, fifth)) and on-base percentage (.334, fourth) but lagged behind in pop, whether that was measured in home runs (196, eighth), doubles (284), slugging percentage (.
