Former Cardinals cleanup hitter Marcell Ozuna recognized the curveball, timed his swing accordingly and, in a blur of his neon green arm sleeve, smacked Dodgers starter Dustin May’s 0-1 pitch into left field for an RBI single that sent the Braves ahead in Game 7 of the NLCS.
The lead didn’t hold. The Dodgers advanced to the World Series thanks to a thrilling comeback win. Just as impressive was Ozuna’s comeback with the Braves.
